Night Light

Mgiese84 27 Jun 2023

Bob’s “Night Light” was another one I did pretty early in my JOP journey. So when my friends mom asked for a light house painting it gave me an opportunity to do it again. Even though Bob had kind of a different style of wave I went along with it. Biggest change I made was to the sky. I’m glad I did because I like it much better than Bob’s.

Nice. Like the one color sky better.

Thanks Tomi. There’s a painter I watch sometimes on YouTube called Paul Ranson. He’s who I got the one color sky idea from.

Super work Matt!

Love it! I also saw the Paul Ranson version and I agree about the sky. It looks so much better (Bob's is a bit too busy for me) and less distracting with the single tone. Super awesome lighthouse also!

really gorgeous!

Beautiful job here Matt!

Awesome version of Bob's lighthouse scene.
I love the sky. Full moon nights can be very bright like that, it keeps amazing me whenever I see it. And this painting shows it well. <3

Thanks Titia. I was worried it was a little too bright. But I liked the way it turned out so I had to just leave it alone. :-)

Well done overall!
