This was my absolute favorite painting technique. I was not able to get the gesso to dry roughly as he demonstrated so instead I painted the under colors with acrylic by laying it on with a palette knife. When I finished with that it was so ugly, if you watch my youtube time-lapse I look at the camera like "HOOOO BOY... I'm trusting you!"
Trust in Bob :) The results were fantastic, this is easily one of my favorites even though my liner brushwork still lacks delicacy. Give this one a go for sure!

this is really quite nice. The rocks are really wonderful and the yellow is eye catching. Great job.
