Mt Rainier is the backdrop for this frosty painting. I have such a problem with the snow. Do any of you struggle painting your snow? It just gets all clumpy and weird. I guess Bigfoot doesn’t care- he tramps around anywhere lol

I have trouble too. My snow tends to get thick. One thing I’ve had luck with lately is similar to mountains, I’ll get the base color on the canvas and then wipe it off good with paper towel before I put the snow on. Rather than “no pressure” like a mountain, I use lots of pressueto make the snow.

Bob used sometimes liq.clear in the white to let it slide better, but it can cause Bigfoot to slip!?
