Well done Jesse! Great perspective and layering! You'll get the mountains highlights with practice. The roll of paint only should be in contact with the canvas, so it's a hyper light pressure with the knife. Actually, what makes the knife stick on the canvas, is the stickiness of the roll of paint rather than you pressing down on it. Then when you go down, the paint will break for you.
