Well, the second time I painted this one was no easier, even though I have much more experience now. I fiddled to death with the sky and clouds, only to cover most of them up. I still can't ger the wave to look just right, even though it's getting a bit better. I have problems making it look like the beach is higher than the sea, my foam always wants to run away from the sea. The sand dunes turned into some kind of rock formation. The painting seemed a bit empty so I added the tree on the right, and I liked it so much I added another one on the left, which wasn't such a good idea. All in all, I just don't know about this one, I guess it'll take some time for it to grow on me...

I'm really into seascapes at the moment. Your sky and clouds are lovely, if I'd done this I'd be really happy with it. And I think you were right to put the tree in on the left, it's framed the scene and it brings your eye back into the sky area. Making the beach higher than the sea is just about angles but you have created a nice slope down to the sea. It looks fine to me.
