So... This started according to Bob: underpainting with black and white gesso, then liquid grey and putting on a little bit of colour in the sky.
And then I went with the small brushes to make the rest of this happy little scene, giving it a totally different look.

Since I only have the Bob Ross brand black (I am used to mixing my own blacks) I was surprised to see how purple it really is. It became really visible when making the "liquid grey" by mixing the Midnight Black and Liquid White. Instead of a plain grey it was a greyish lilac. Quite pretty.

No, I did not put any sap green in the sky.
Come to think of it... I might not have used sap green at all. But I'm not 100% sure.

The trees are amazing! The amount of detail on the leaves is crazy! Really nice! I like this one!

Lovely scene! Very calm feeling from this painting.
