On this same canvas I had painted the angel, which I previously posted. I wasn't happy and went into fix it. Ended up that I scraped the canvas, slapped on sap green, and painted Bob's Quiet Sream. Needless to say, figures are not my forte. I am going to push myself to do a few portraits - just so I can. In the meantime, I'm going to make a series of the wet on wet using sap green as base (bob style). I photographed the bluffs and trees at Rockford park which is along the Big River in Jefferson County. I intend to use these photos to do lose interpretations with river/streams and lush green vegetation and rocks / small bluffs.
Wish me luck & happy painting.

Is the yellow glow a bit loud for the quiet stream? Should I go back in and tame that down?
