This is my first Bob Ross painting. I’ve only used acrylics before. I believe I used too much liquid white and probably too much paint. I underestimated the amount of paint thinner needed. I didn’t get the detail I was hoping for. It is taking a very long time to dry. I need practice at loading and holding my brushes.

Not bad for a first oil!
Really good for your first attempt. Looking at the texture of your bushes it does seem that your brush might be a little bit overloaded but you will get the hang of it. Watch bobs video Grandeur of Summer, he explains the technique very well in this one. Hope that helps.
