Struggled with the bushes sticking to the canvas (started with too thin of paint). Any recommendation on a thicker oil paint that does not break the budget?
Very pretty sky, mountains and tree effects on your mid ground hills.
Letting the paint sit on the palette will thicken it up (like overnight or so) - but its a fine line between just right and dried out. Bob's paints work well. I have had good luck with Winton (Windsor and Newton) oils. Their white is fairly thick. You can get away with softer (oilier) colors, but you need a thick white to make the mountains with Bob's technique. Also, most colors get mixed with white, so that's the place to buy thick IMO.

Nice painting, you can try to pull the oil out of the paint. Some time on cardboard or several layers of newspaper ππΌπ©πͺ
