Another retry, now this episode of an earlier season when Bob was working with a 2,5 inch brush and magic white in stead of a 2 inch brush and liquid white and no liquid clear. The contrasting clouds were for me the most characteristic part of this painting. I had some troubles with the branches of the trees because my sky was a bit too dark and made the branches almost invisible. Also the many paint on the clouds made it difficult to put them in. And my old linerbrush was splitting and didn't want to do the job. Another part with some struggle were the distant mountains, these are also a bit difficult to see, I maybe had to use a lighter color for it. I didn't want to loose my cloud on the right so I kept the trees smaller there. On wallpaper of 40 x 30 cm.
Nice work Jos. I can see the branches too. You can be very satisfied with your work ππΌπ©πͺπ³π±
Thank you very much Rebecca and DIrk. I know you can see branches, but there were branches coming outside the tree like Bpb did, but these were hardly visible, so I painted some leaves there. And Rebecca, thanks for the tip, but I almost never changes a finished painting, mostly it wil not become better, is my experience, so I let the background mountains (2 rows, did you see?) as it is.
Gorgeous! I love the coloring in this! And the reflections in the water are stunning. Great work.
Beautiful work and it seems that you used every color on your palette JosβοΈ

Nice. I can see the tree branches. You could glaze over the distant mountains to make them stand out if you want. But i think they're fine
