Nicely done Dan! As fas as I know this is the only YOP scene with mountain reflections in the water but no snowy mountains . For learning to paint that for me was Bill Alexander a good teacher with f.i. his To the Summit painting, there are several beautiful versions on this site.

Yes, using the double-loading on the filbert brush is working for you! Nice layering!
