(Second upload; I decided to balance the painting a little more after some helpful feedback here.)
I couldn’t quite achieve the beautiful Bob Ross-style blending of the background trees, so they ended up becoming more of a tree line. The atmosphere is a little different than Bob's (oh well, happy accidents).
I also felt the big tree trunk on the left didn’t work with the composition, so I turned them into bushes instead. Overall, a very fun challenge!

Nice! Much better balance and depth and the close-up bushes allow more detail which also adds to depth. Nice path/road to barn. I agree, overcoming challenges is great fun! Keep painting!
