Use acrylic paint but started with a wash of covering white paint with a 50-50 ratio of drying retardant, and use all the same colors Bob uses but just acrylic. This is a 16 x 20.

Nice craggy mountains, and tree trunks and water reflections, especially for acrylic. Just curious, have you tried water mixable oil colors yet? I hear they have easier cleanup with benefits of oil blending and working time. Popular with folks with your concerns.
