I did this digitally technically. But I actually used a simple custom painting simulation in VR that I made, so there were some interesting limitations. I actually did this as the first real test of the system to see if i could make a good bob ross painting with it. And actually actually this is my first painting in any form at all, really. I've done few messing abouts in photoshop but nothing quite like this. Overall, pretty happy with how it turned out. Trees need some work I think. Probably should improve my fan brush but ykno. Also partly a limitation of the simulation and partly because it needs improvement, but the "brush" I have cant do the splochy nature and get those bushes quite as bush like as bob.

I would never think that digital can take almost the same as real painting!
It looks very close to the real oil painting. Only what looks different is blending in the midground.
