Double Oval Fantasy

Making this contact paper was troublesome, but how about trying it out?

I also find contact paper challenging to work with, but your painting turned out lovely. Your mountains are perfect!

@Dracula Thank you for your comment.

Funny enough, this exact painting is on my short list. I was between that one and Winter Frost for my last attempt.

This came out really nicely. Great work! How are you cutting out the ovals? Contact paper isn't the best but I can get it to collaborate when using an old dining plate as an outline. I trace around it with a pencil and slowly cut the oval out with an exacto knife.

@lightsnow thank you for your comment.
I made this contact paper.
First, measure the canvas size, determine the optimal ellipse size, and use a computer to create and print a single ellipse. If smaller, make an enlarged copy. Next, cut out the ellipse. Once you have positioned the two ellipses with the contact paper, trace, draw a line, and cut from the contact paper. This is my way.

Thank you for the information!

@lightsnow You're welcome.
I'm looking forward seeing your double oval painting!

Any tips on actually applying the contact paper?

Dear anothermohammad
It is most important that there is no gap when applied to the canvas. Peel off the contact paper little by little and attach it to the canvas.
