This is my 3rd attempt with this technique, and I definitely used the right amount of liquid white this time. However, I don't think Blick's studio grade paint is working well for layering colors on top of one another. As you can see, the white picks up quite a lot of the red/blue color underneath and this makes it very difficult to have nice highlights on the trees in the background, and on the bushes in the front. Does anyone have suggestions? Am I pressing too hard, possibly? I can't seem to press much softer and have the brush not pickup any of the underlying color. Looking back, I also don't like the the two trees on the left don't overlap with one another a little and that all three are more or less the same height.
