At Dawn's Light

moore3tr 12 Mar 2019

I really love the colors in this painting! I finally feel like I figured out how to paint realistic water (you should see my first few attempts trying to use acrylic paint, it's laughable).

I really struggled with the path so I painted a fallen tree because it's my world. I've started adding my own twists to paintings. I've learned several techniques and I feel I've learned the skills to improvise instead of just copying Bob. I am happy with how this painting turned out.

I like the colors too

Good idea to use the fallen tree. I wouldn’t have thought of that.

It’s your world as Bob would say you did a great job, the important part is learning the techniques and making them work for you
A few tips the front lower left is dark I would have add some sticks or a rock to make it stand out
