This was a different painting. I was concerned about the small amount of phalo green in the sky, but it does set it off. I found it to be an enjoyable painting. Gamblin oils on 16x20 canvas.

Well, I ended up throwing in the towel on it, about halfway through. This one is deceptively hard, and you nailed it. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime. I ended up doing season 1, episode 10. Mountain Lake, I’d really love to hear your feedback if you have time to take a look.

Superb job! I’m going to try this one tomorrow (will be my 5th painting) and I too, am nervous about the green in the sky. I was considering trying to make the sky more to the orange and red sides, but you have encouraged me to go with the green. Thanks!
