This is the first oil painting I have done. The painting itself was really easy, the cleaning up took twice as long as the painting did.
The painting is done on protective sheet used during renovation, and it gave the painting some interesting texture. The sheet is used to protect (in this case) the walls from paint, so it doesn't really absorb the paint. Only time will tell how it will dry on the sheet.

Great that only started oil painting 6 weeks ago . I did start paint at the start of lockdown I was on holiday in Majorca saw a street artists spray painting 5 year ago never had the time till now I put them on here got some good reviews . Only done about 7 oil painting up to now . I have incorporated spray and oil together. Just looked at your paint mountain is great and reflection or good well done .

Amazing for a first oil painting on an untested substrate! The colorful reflections of the sky are particularly effective. Looking forward to seeing more!
