First ever painting in oil. Didn’t have liquid white, didn’t have the right brushes, and only used the “best of joy of painting book”. I look forward to doing this one again with the right materials. But I am not unhappy with the result.

Sky is very pretty and I really, really like that cloud on the upper right. If this is where you're starting, imagine where you'll be in 20–30 paintings! Keep it up.
As a tip, I find I first watch the video on YouTube to give me a sense of the painting, its layout, the colors, the techniques, etc. Only then do I setup and "paint along" (more like watch, pause, paint, rewind, watch, pause, paint, ....). That helps me out a lot.
Super that you have a book. Those are a great resource (hope to get one for me soon).
