Bright Autumn Trees

dracula 16 May 2020

So, I think I'm just going to commit myself to completing Season 12. I think I've done at least half of them at this point. This one was pretty fun. The version in the book (which I followed) is considerably lighter than the one from the TV program. To be honest, I (unsurprisingly) prefer the darker version, but that's fine. It was interesting using Liquid White and Liquid Black together in the same painting.

Wow that's great, the background trees add a really cool depth, esp with the blueyness of them contrasted between the pinkish sky and the greener foreground. The differing color lake reflections really make it pop. Also once again your trees are amazing. I dont know how often you follow Bob's advice and make friends with a tree but it's clear you have a solid grasp of the shapes, forms and how the lights play in the branches.

Great work!
Your work akways reminds me Barbizon school.

Beatiful work Dracula! The tree trunk is gorgeous! I love that incredible texture you made! Good luck with completing season 12 and getting the badge for the challenge of you don't have one already.

Your trees have amazing detail and shape. This is so nice.

You are incredible. Sky, land, water, trees, everything is 100% perfect. This is like the improved version of the real thing. I would hang this in my house like the fine art that it is.
