Wanted to keep it more monochromatic. Not crazy about it I’ll redo it once I get better with black canvases

You did very nice glow in the sky. Also trees' brunches are so nice!

Trick with oil painting you need to work hard to preserve really dark colors. Because as soon a bit of white gets in there the depth get destroyed. It is very difficult to restore darks back.
Black canvas usually assists with that difficult task but still a bit extra of white and it is gone.

Your front trees are rendered very well, but the lighting looks a lit off. The sun sets (or rises) in the back, but the trees look like they have more of a front fill light. I would pay atention to where your highlights are and keep in mind the intended light source. IK those threes are smoll though so itwould probably be pretty tough. Happy painting!
