Winter Barn

wendy 25 May 2020

This is the first time I covered a white canvas with liquid clear instead of liquid white. Over 70 episodes and still doing firsts! I tried to apply as little liquid clear as possible, but it was still too much because some parts had paint running down the canvas. I went crazy with the background trees at the right and I forgot that there would be a bravery test at the end that would cover them up.

Barn, birches and sky are gorgeous Wendy!!

Liquid clear really can be messy when applied too much. In fact you hardly need a spoonful for a 16"x20" canvas. Best method is that after applying (criss cross) the clear, you gently whipe it off with some paper tissue/cloth. Never a severe whipe, just a very gently whisper over the canvas, twice or more if necessary. You will spot on the cloth how much or how less comes off. If few or nothing, your canvas is 100% ready to go!
Works every time!!
Have fun and stay safe!
