Autumn Days

wybnormal 27 Sep 2020

Autumn Days was the inspiration and I did try to follow it but ended up trying to work out how to add flowers :D I know that you don't have flowers int eh fall but maybe we should and as Bob says "Its my world " I used both BR paint and Winton paint. And some cheap Michaels "artist loft" paint because I had it laying around.

Your water is blended very nicely!

Love the way you do your flowers Wybl. Please share your secret!

This is the brush I use - https://www.dickblick.com/items/04627-1008/ Its called a "bright" , size 4 and synthetic. I load it with color which has been thinned slightly with thinner or liquid white and then "dab" it lightly on the surface. Smaller flowers are just the corner dabbed. The angle of the brush sets the direction of the "petal" so sometimes I'm a bit contorted :D

Thank you for the info on the brush and the technique. I will definitely have a go at this as I've been trying to think for a while of ways to create foreground flowers. Yours are quite lovely, hope to see more from you.

Good job on capturing the vibrant colors. I also like your tree trunks. Nice job!
