Winter's Peace

Nicole 03 Nov 2020

To start, I (totally!) messed this up. I am hoping for advice on HOW TO PAINT PINE TREES. I can not get them right. I tried the ‘Z’ shape a million times now. They always come out too round!

Hi Nicole. Check this out:

Don’t worry everyone goes through the long learning curve with evergreens. You will get it mastered. The most important do not let sad/mad feelings get to you, look at it as one more training. You do not need to make it perfect from the first time. You always can scrape off and remake.

Also there is a wonderful article from our community member Dracula who makes fantastic evergreens and shares his knowledge with us.

Voy Kay Conqueror of Challenges

Dear Nicole, I will second that tip from Sunnylady. 'Yovette' also learned me to paint better evergreens! And Dracula's tip also learns how to finetune them when desired.

Till next one!
