Happy Accident

dracula 07 Nov 2020

I really wasn't sure how I wanted to approach this one, but I just went about it as it's described in the book version which explains, roughly, what gets painted and then scraped off before getting into the real composition. If I were to do it again I might approach it less literally and get more experimental with it.

awesome D..love it all..especially the stream.cheers.p

Dracula, fantastic painting!!the front tree is outstanding and water is alive. Awesomely done!

Those highlights are absolutely exquisite. Well done!

This is really nice, I love the foreground tree. I remember watching the video ages ago and I wondered how many people would deliberately create an accident so they could paint this picture. Made me smile.

Honestly, I never liked this accident/creation from Bob but yours makes it a real topper Dracula!

So much movement in your water! I keep staring at all the little details.

Thank you everyone, I appreciate your kind words! This one is weird, but it turned out to me more fun and interesting than I expected.
