Oriental Falls

Bob’s enthusiasm and creativity was almost too big for a 2”x3” canvas, but I somehow managed to fit this into a tiny rectangle. Painting along with Bob for this one is especially fun and as refreshing as visiting a real life waterfall!
Instead of spattering the brush cleaner I stippled it with a little rough hog hair brush. I painted this on a piece of card sized with a coat of gesso, so there is no canvas texture!

Best version yet of such challenging painting!
I can't even think of painting this on a 16"x20", yet you managed to get this on a 2"x3" and with such details!

My sincere applauds to you!!!

Reminds me of a little bit of old Chinese landscape paintings, I think its the stark contrast between the dark trees and the light fog below them

I love Bob’s tutorial of this, he really enjoyed what he was making!
