Snowfall Magic

When I paint limbs with a small liner brush, they look like little ribbons. How do you decide where to place limbs and how do you get them to look like this?

I had to practice painting trees. I use a liner brush and press a little harder at the truck then very gentle at the end. For the Iimbs I paint from the trunk and I sort of choose them at random. Bob Ross says to look at trees and it does work. Hope this of help, but practicing trees on their own helped me a lot.

Wow thats nice! I like the colors, what colors do you use?

I used some of the paints as per the Bob Ross video but varied it slightly on the yellows. To be honest I cannot remember I just blend it how I felt at the time.
