Island in the Wilderness

Alaw27 04 Jan 2021

Love the pink sky. Making evergreens with a one inch brush was difficult. Paths are always difficult for me as are putting in the last bushes - the dark under color always sticks to the light, and mixes. Makes it hard to have those "sparklers".... didn't have cad yellow though, so maybe that was part of the problem?

Love the pink sky and the birds!

I think Bob has a bush brush, it is a roundish one, maybe if you have something similar you can practice with that or try different brushes till you find one you are happy with.
To be honest I am terrible at paths too, I struggle with perspective as well, you have some great features here, the Island and the water, reflections, and the trees there too, dramatic sky.
We are always our own worst critics, there is lots of good stuff here, just keep having fun and learning from Bob. :)

Thank you, you are so kind! <3
