Highly recommend oils for this painting. I did it in acrylics and the mountains were fairly frustrating. This is my second tutorial and I've already seen a huge improvement in my painting skills!! Switching to oils for the next painting i try.

Yes I imagine it does! Thank you! The lake dried on me pretty quick, in real life that part of the painting actually looks a bit odd haha the water line was a bit challenging as well.

The Wet on wet makes a huge difference with oils, Acrylics dry so fast, you have lovely reflections and some wonderful trees there.
