Third or fourth time doing this painting. Pleased with the colors and layering of the background trees and bushes. Layering the snow is very relaxing and gratifying. Although I regret putting in the lone tree midway. I was happy with the background and leaves that got covered up and just should have left it alone.

Thank you! I have gotten very comfortable with the small round brush and the 1" oval brush. Every time Bob does something with the 2" or 1" brush for bushes and trees I switch to the round and oval. It works better for me and gives me the effect I'm looking for.
Thanks for tip! I agree, I struggle with rounding the 1" brush like Bob and making foliage but I just bought a round brush and am anxious to try it instead!

Beautiful painting, this one is also on my to-paint list. Love the sky and the snow. The trees are amazing, I really need to get oval and round brush. The red bush in the middle is a great addition. I also sometimes accidentally cover up things I liked. Oh well.
