Incredible blending with acrylics!
About snow on the trees. I think the other trees envy those in foreground as Mother Nature did not give them snow. This moment I noticed some time ago that not all trees get snowy cloth in one painting. May this what bothers you too?
It's a choice to make, putting highlights on or not. Several artists who painted this chose not to put them on, myself included.
As Kaylaq mentioned, it would indeed help to put (a shy) shadow on the trees before adding the snow.
And as Sunnylday mentioned ... other trees might be very jealous about it! 😉

Your sky is beautiful! I think adding some shadow in first to your trees would help with the snow looking right. Love the cabin, I would live there.
