This is a practice round. I gessoed a piece of cardboard for my canvas. I made a creek in lieu of puddles. I need feedback please!!!

The tree trunks have so much texture. Grassy areas look really soft. Great painting. If this is just a practice painting I can't wait to see the "real" one.

Your practice turned in the very nice painting.
You changed horizon line and it changed viewer position to be on the ground beneath those almighty trees. The feel of presences in the forest.
Tree trunks are just super and have wonderful shape!
