This one I did on a lazy Sunday afternoon. My spouse mentioned something about painting a mill. And I thought, ah ha I remember Bob did an old mill painting. If you're trying Bob's technique in acrylic the only way to do it effectively is get a medium to mix the acrylics with so they won't dry as fast on you.

Incredible drawing skill here to make that mill look so awesome! it caught the eye immediately! Trees highlights with acrylics are so much different and look great! Nice control of shadows and highlights!

A whole different atmosphere and tone created thanks to acrylics iso oils. That mill stands like a rock!
This one is on my short list, hope to create this myself before summer and would be pleased if it would came out like yours!
