Hi everyone :) I know I have a lot to learn and I’m all in. This is my 6th painting ever and 1st upload; hoping to earn my first badge and be more active as I learn this beautiful and stress reducing craft. I took creative liberties early on and followed Bob’s advise on thinking of a happy little story and doing what made me happy. As a bonus, along the way, I also learned that “cacti” is actually the plural version of cactus hence my re-title, “Lost Cacti” ;)

yes, the cacti could use a bit more work, however when i viewed the painting it woke me up with the bright and vivid colors. good job

Hi Cue, i really like this and to complete such a good painting so early in your new hobby is outstanding. If i have one bit of advice it would be regarding the cactus... your colour is transparent and i can see the mountain through the left arm, also it looks a little like a trident possibly because the arms are at the same height and need a little more of a natural bend...add some needles and perhaps a highlight to the right side......great job!
