I like the almost pastel colors in this attempt. The bird on the lake is supposed to resemble a duck but I think it’s an emu or something.

Actually your duck has the shape of a moorhen, if you could add a bit of red to the beak that should finish it off nicely. Can't wait to see the babies!

haha, emu, that's funny. I love the fact that you've put a duck on your lake, it's a great idea. It just needed the neck to be sloping off to the right instead of the left, duck sort of just sit on top of the water don't they, and idle along. I'd be tempted to add a load of ducklings following her.
