Mountain Summit

WIPackerdad 18 Aug 2021

First attempt after watching for a very long time. Mountains came quite a bit easier than I thought. Felt like a bit of a mud mixer at times. Figured out I was likely using too much pressure. Will try using round brush for foliage instead of 2”.

Ahh good old mud, we've all done that. Too wet is the usual culprit, and too much pressure will do that. You would have more control using a 1" and go slowly, load the width of the brush but only use the corner of it to apply the paint. For your highlights you need no pressure at all. Bob looks like he's smashing it in but he really isn't. You'll make it work with practice. Nice looking mountain.

I definitely recommend using one of the round brushes (I prefer the half size) for highlighting your foliage. As long as you don't cover up all your dark I think you'll be in good shape.
