Painted on a 12 x 16 canvas board. I found this one challenging, so I decided to use a larger surface. I am very surprised how well the painting looks as a whole. My black background was dry when I painted it not wet. I did have a thin layer of acrylic retarder one the surface when painting the sky and glacier.

This looks great! I really really like your style! So nice to see how you can adapt Bob's compositions and techniques to acrylic. Very inspiring.
