Right off the bat I put in a few fluffy clouds (where Bob left the sky pretty much plain). With quite a bit of sky showing I thought it needed something. I enjoyed doing it and it turned out to be a delightful meadow home.
So pretty...Makes you want to live there! You do buildings so well!

Looks great Matt! Your buildings are really very good. I like the fence and you have good depth. My fav is the tree in the forefront
Thanks Daniel. I always try my best to pay attention to detail.
Nice work Matt. Is there any secret how you get the highlights on your buildings? I always have troubles to get it of the knife once I put a base color on.
Very nice. Like the added clouds for sure, and your funky crooked tree!
Thanks from you both Tom and Pam. To answer your question Tom, I usually put a rough highlight or shadow in with the knife. Then I will go back with the liner brush and either add more or less shadow depending what it needs. I also use the liner brush to put my boards in too.
I agree with the others, your building have gone from nice, to absolutely amazing. Very well done.
Thanks much Shadow
Such adorable scene and nice calmness here! Great shadows added to the big tree and path and fence . But gem is that barn.
