Mountain Blossoms

Ahuebner2004 14 Sep 2021

I used thinned white to make liquid white to thin the top half of my canvas, and then I used licorice black thinned for the base of the canvas. For the sky, I used a thin coat of true blue. And then I used some titanium white for the clouds. For the mountains, I used straight licorice black, and for the highlights I used straight titanium white again and then I used cobalt blue and white for the shadows. And then I used straight licorice black for the trees, And I used black, purple, and red to make the undercoat for the blossoms, And then I used purple and red and white for the highlights. And then I took some thinned licorice black to make some dead twigs and then I used thinned white to highlight them.
And last but not least, I signed my painting using thinned black.
