Still painting trees I chose this one and it’s a much brighter day in my version. I have been experimenting with some Gamblin shades of green, Permanent Green Light and Cadmium Green. They definitely helped me bring light to the foliage. 16x20

I don’t care much for sap green either.
I’m happy you like this one. It’s an early spring morning and the leaves on the old oak have not yet opened.

How do you find cad green? I never used it...but was thinking once to buy. Then changed my mind since all my greens happen through phatlo green anyway... I almost stopped using sap green nowadays...
I like you got a day feel and has feel of the sky in your version! I like the feel that it is forest edge and it feels that walk is over and you directing home.
