I wanted to paint something to match the autumn colors I am seeing in real life and this painting fit the bill. It was a lot of fun. I liked doing the ridge rather than regular mountains. I am not sure I liked the method Bob used to highlight the evergreen trees. Unless the trees are closer and bigger, I will stick with a fan brush.

Nice pines back there, and the mountain ridge is great, too. Good painting.
