Not satisfied with how this one turned out, but that would please Bob! Definitely worthy of a future attempt, I haven’t come close to the subtleties of tones in Bobs original, I hope I’ve learnt something though.

I love this painting because of the out-of-focus parts and the defined birch bark.
My paintings are stiff and show my attempt to be perfect rather than show the essence of the scene as you have. Congrats.
