I lost my best friend of 15 years yesterday.. my little Yorkie AJ.. Tried to do a tribute to my lil AJ 🐶, but was overcome with sadness.. not satisfied with it.. I’ll redo it next weekend.. “Rainbow Bridge,” Oil on 16x20 stretched canvas. March 20, 2022.
So sorry you lost your little one. The painting is perfect because you painted it with AJ in your heart. Tuck it away and look at it in a different day

My heart goes out to you. And very moving to do tributes for the ones we love that move on. I am one of those who believe our animals await us in the other side. But here and now it hurts. They are our family. I’ve been there. My companion is Bella Blue. A long haired chi-Pom mix. Her grandmother was also near and dear to my heart. A deep pain it is when we go through that loss.
