Started out following a Bob Ross painting, but I took a left turn somewhere and did my own thing. I like it, but I've never been able to get close to the scene he paints.
Very nice. Started out maybe as Frozen Beauty in Vignette?
Sunnylady: I used to get upset when things didn't go as planned. Now, 'things not going as planned' is the norm. Whatever happens, happens.
Mgiese84: Yes, this started out as a vignette. I had the blue set up nicely (darker in the corners). Then, halfway through, I looked up and saw I had painted over two of the corners. I said 'to heck with it...time to just see what happens.'
This is actually the bottom half of a 12x16 canvas, so roughly 7 1/2 x 12 inches. The top half is Painting No. 31. I posted them separately, because they look better that way. Kind of a small space in which to work.
I certainly can say the same, I was upset when things did not go the same as Bob's till I understood and accepted this is how it should be and no two paintings will be the same unless this is the challenge one takes to learn old masters.
