Black dog.

This dog was painted in water-mixable oils. I found him a bit difficult as I have trouble distinguishing between black and brown so the mid-tones were tricky. He is not my best dog painting but I am pretty pleased with him. I love doing the eyes the most as it brings the dog to life. I did this via a tutorial and was interested that the teacher said to use pale blue for the highlights as they are sky reflections.
