This is the 3rd dog that I have painted following a tutorial. The last two were black and white dogs and much easier. This one was a bit beyond my skill level but I am fairly pleased with the result. I am happy with the face but some of the fur was very hard to get right. I learned a great deal.
Stunning. I love these beautiful dogs. Never quite know how much you can trust them but that's more to do with the owner rather than the dog. Your painting looks perfect and the animal really pops against that soft background. You don't need any tips from me but here's one anyway - charge a lot of money for it.

Great job! Those Shepherds do have a lot of color variations in their fur for sure, and I think you did well on it. I love the highlights of the sun on his face too!

Lovely work. If you found parts of the fur hard I cannot see where that was. The nose, eye, mouth and tongue are great.
