Having completed Michael J Smith's Autumn Tree tutorial, I decided to fly solo and apply what I had learned with a similar scene. I'm not 100% happy with it and struggled with the grass and foreground, but I am reasonably satisfied. It is an acrylic under-painting and then water-soluble oils. Next month I am going to have some face to face lessons! Very exciting!
