This is an original landscape from a bend in the the northwest section of the Yakima River it was a very cold, late afternoon timeframe however the colors at that time were magical and I had to try to get it on canvas plen air style. I was very lucky to have a 6 tube travel set of paint and a travel easel with me. That is a hazy shot of Mt. Adams in the background.
Yes, and the air was wonderfully sweet nd very cold.
