A painting that I did as a gift for a lady who lost her husband last year who was a shrimper. If you zoom in on the boat, it has his name on the front, "August". It's a surprise gift that I hope she likes. Another with gold leaf lettering (I'm enjoying those, even though they're a LOT of prep work!!) and with a shrimp boat on an 11"x14" canvas, a swamp painted inside the state. New Orleans, where they lived is known as the "Big Easy", so that's why the word "Easy" is bigger than the rest. I did add moss to the tree in the foreground this time. Next one will have a tree that's all moss like we sometimes have. PLEASE offer any criticism that might help!! I'm my own worst critic and can absolutely pick it APART!!
That is beautiful and i know she would love it personalized to this extent is really special, you did a beautiful job

The gold looks great against the black. I'm sure the lady will love it. Having a piece of artwork created especially for you and personalised to this extent is really special. Well done. Nobody is going to criticise this. Speaking from professional experience you might consider on your next one that its usual practice to use only one script typestyle on the same piece, the reason being they fight for position, I hope that helps. Your gold lettering looks neat, how did you do that on canvas? Its tidy appearance is impressive.
